The Zara Issue

First I noticed that the levels of stock in the stores was dwindling down, then one section of the store was closed, then they started putting out old clothes and selling them as "new collection items" and then came the close of my favorite store... my expression was something like this:

And all I could think was that Amancio's empire was coming to an end in Venezuela.
Noooo The HORROR!!
Noooo El HORROR!!

But then... when I'd assumed the worst... on their Facebook page Zara had this announcement...

Which means... that they're opening up a new store! Phewww... however the economic difficulties in Venezuela are evident, as a new commercial strategy had to be devised, and six stores of the Inditex group were closed (3 Zara, 3 Bershka). Zara, however, is not leaving, and according to Inditex representatives 3 new stores are going to open (Zara, Bershka and Pull and Bear (I'm definitely excited about the third one since it will be the first one in the city!)) Anywho, it would definitely have been be sad to see Zara leave...
